Health, Safety & Environmental Unit

The HSE Unit has been established in 2014 as part of Our Regional Office initiatives to ensure that the HSE aspect of projects is acceptable
to the standards based on JKR Sarawak HSE Policy and the regulations of DOSH , FMA and other regulations.
The responsibilities of HSE Unit are :
a) Act as HSE Executive in the Northern Region and secretary to HSE Sub-Committee
b) To inspect place of works quarterly for HSE management system compliance
c) To attend Quarterly HSE Main Committee Meeting at HQ
d) To carry out HSE matters, activities for the staff awareness program and ensure compliance with OSHA,
FMA and other regulations.
e) Prepare and forward to HQ quarterly HSE summary report for all projects undertaken by regional office
