P. 2
Like many people, I spent over 30 years of my life working for the “man,” in retail
stores and the last 20 years in call centers. I’ve worked for what I call the good, the
bad and the ugly when it comes to bosses - and few had leadership qualities,
people skills or worked to inspire me or anyone else for that matter.
40+40=40%?
Yes, I subscribed to the 40/40/40 Plan: you've heard of it, the typical retirement
process where most people spend 40+ hours a week, working for 40+ years only to
live off of 40% of their income from Social Security - 40% of the income they
struggled on when they were earning 100% of it.
I worked 13 years at my LAST corporation, only to be laid off because the
organization was “going in a different direction.” However, my boss let me go just
two weeks before I planned to give my notice. This was one of the BEST DAYS OF
MY LIFE – I got my FREEDOM!
My Resume
