SKILLS SHORTAGE
The Australian automotive industry is experiencing the most
profound skills shortage in its history.
MTAA and members provide the only reliable scan of the state of
the Automotive Sector in the past five years with the release of the
Automotive Directions Report. Through quantitative and
qualitative data analysis and extensive interviews of automotive
business owners, it has been determined the automotive sector
requires an additional 35,000 skilled workers - today.
