other offenses spelled out in the IFSU Code should be addressed to the University Grievance
Committee. Conflicts among faculty members should be addressed to the Faculty
Association Grievance Committee if not settled within the College or Department level. On
the other hand, any complaint against a student or group of students should be addressed
to the Director of DSSD or Chairperson of DSSD for the campuses.
4.2.2. Every faculty member, individually or as part of a group, has the right to seek redress
against injustice and discrimination and, to the extent possible, shall raise his/her grievances
within acceptable democratic processes. In doing so, he/she shall avoid jeopardizing the
interest and welfare of the learners whose right to learn must be respected.
4.2.3. No member of the faculty shall be suspended or removed from service except for cause laid
after an investigation. The Discipline Committee conducts the investigation.

University to allot from its appropriation for Traveling Expenses of Personnel, such
amount as may be necessary for travel. Faculty members should inform the

4.3.1.2. Travels may be official, religious, social or personal in nature contingent on the
needs of the service; hence, approval for authority to travel is needed when a
faculty member represents University functions, as the trip is sponsored by the
