BENNY
My God- does it end? (To Alyson) Read.

ALYSON
Uh- ―Rosen has called on the mayor, city council, and all the good people of New York to help launch
the biggest protest the city‘s ever seen.‖ That mean us?

BENNY
Ya kiddin‘? Buncha‘ kids with picket signs standin‘ in front of those bulldozers?

STEPHANIE
Bulldozers?

CHRIS
I don't think my mom's gonna let me stand in front of-

BENNY
They're not gonna run you over, for God's sake. It‘s p.r. New York legend Benny Rosen, Junior,
surrounded by his adoring students…(kids improvise coughing)…shut up…re-emerges after thirty
years to defend his beloved studio from the wrecking ball. Oh ho! Joe Papp‘s gonna turn green.
