ALYSON
Saw the contract. Maddie signature and everything.

ADAM
What a week- national commercial, Broadway.

ALYSON
And I‘m this close to signing with Maddie. And you‘re prob‘ly next. (Sarcasm) But y‘know… we should
prob‘ly just quit and go over to Bob Monroe‘s. I mean it‘s not like we‘re gettin‘ anything from Benny,
right? (Playful hand on ear as if hard of hearing) What? I was what? (Imitating Adam ―You were
right, Alyson‖. Thank you, Adam. (Reading) ―Now you can enjoy a great-tasting breakfast cereal that
includes-―

BRENDA
(Entering) They're ready for you.
