        Scene. Benny‘s studio, the next day. He lights a cigar, then picks up and examines a script.


                                                           BENNY
        (Reading, quickly) ―Hi, folks. Benny Rosen, Junior here. Y‘know, when I was a kid, I remember mom
        used to have us start each morning with a big hearty bowl of- ― Crap. I‘m not sayin‘ this.

        The phone rings. He puts down his cigar, reaches for the receiver, and the phone slides off the desk.


                                                           BENNY
        For cryin' out-  (Struggling with phone) Can‘t they figure out how to make these without cords!?
        (Phone, sweetly) Benny Rosen, Junior. (Listens) Hi dear. (Listens, Alyson has entered)


                                                             N
        Alyson takes his cigar, disappears into a back room, then reappears without the cigar.


                                                           BENNY
        (On phone) Nope. Hasn‘t arrived yet. Sure she hasn‘t bailed again? (Listens) And Jean‘s on board?
        (Listens) Oh, ya got time to call the media--what about my film? (Listens) Maddie, we have a deal.
        You said you‘d- (Listens) ―Working on it.‖ Fine.  Love ya, kid. (Hangs up as Chris, Adam, and
        Stephanie enter.)

        W'sup my hebro?

        What?
