The  first  two  subjects  in  this  LLM  programme  are  to  be
                                                               developed through converting ILEPS1 and ILEPS2 of the non-
                                                               award COL Asia International Legal English and Professional
         COL-IPBA LLM in ASEAN Cross-Border Practice           Skills  Programme  (ILEPS)  into  a  2-subject  foundation
                                                               programme for non English-speaking learners, to undertake in
            new  COL  Asia  LLM  (Applied  Law)  programme  is  to  be   preparation for the LLM programme.. The subjects will be:
         A  launched as a co-branded LLM in collaboration with the     ILP1 - International Lawyer’s Skills 1
         Inter-Pacific   Bar   Association   (IPBA)   -   the   Tokyo-
         based  international association for business and commercial     ILP2 - International Lawyer’s Skills 2

         Pacific Region. Established in 1991, the IPBA has grown to
         become the pre-eminent legal association in the Asia-Pacific
         region, with membership drawn from throughout the world. It
         currently has over 1,500 members from over 65 jurisdictions
         worldwide.
         The recently announced King’s College London IBA Executive
         LLM  program provides an example of how a co-branded LLM

         similar   short   descriptive
         name  for  the  College  IPBA
         program.  An  example  is  given  below.  If  you  have  any

        Can you think of a name for the new LLM programme?

         The first three subjects in the new COL-IPBA LLM programme
         (shaded  blue  in the list  below  of  all  the  LLM  subjects to be
         developed  in  2018)  will  be  offered  in  the  February  2018
         Intake. ILP6 and ILP7 will be offered in the May 2018 intake.
                                                               The ASEAN Cross-Border Legal Practice jurisdictional stream
                                                               will be one of four streams available to all COL students from
                 ASEAN CROSS-BORDER PRACTICE
