We are constantly so preoccupied with our
social lives in our generation that we forget
about our grandparents. We need to start
spending more time with our cherished
            grandparents. We can also discover
intriguing stories about their past. We can
strengthen our ties with them by conversing
            with them.
My grandmother had a simple childhood
when she was younger. Every day, her
routine would be the same. She would assist
her parents in their grocery shop by cleaning
the restrooms and taking care of the store.
But her upbringing was not entirely dreary
            nor uninteresting; she would occasionally
spend her transportation money on snacks
            instead of going home.
