Start coiling the rope by folding it in half and making the turns with
the doubled line, or by making the turns from one end to the other.

1 After wrapping all but the last 2 to 4 feet, depending on the size
of the coil, fold a long bight in the end.

2 Pass this bight across the front and around behind the coil.
