In October, 14 members of the Detachment deployed to the
Muir of Ord in North West Scotland, a bleak unforgiving, hostile
location, but nonetheless comfortable due to the excellent
facilities at the Fairburn Activity Centre. Whilst there, everyone
took part in mountain biking, geo-caching, archery, paint
balling and high rise team building and confidence activities
such as crate stacking and Jacob’s Ladder. Everyone thoroughly
enjoyed themselves with a welcome break from the office
routine.

satisfying. The work life balance is great up in Inverness. The Mountain

on your doorstep keeps our shooting skills up to scratch and
we hope to deliver a good show at the 2019 Triple Crown which
will no doubt be led by the incoming Detachment Commander,
Captain Scotty Munro.
The Future and Beyond

continue to ply our trade. Captain Julie Anderson and Captain
Scotty Munro will be in post and we look forward to delivering

to be a kinetic yet exciting 12 months. If you’ve made it this far
