The changing CBSE policies and the hype created by the impact of Artificial intelligence on the future industries, the vanishing jobs and emerging demand for new skills.....too much to handle for a 14 year old!
Every child has a genius within and every genius needs a strong foundation of knowledge to think creatively and innovate. This is exactly what the Grade 9 teachers are working towards. The science behind a germinating seed, the real life application of Euclid’s axiom or the economic gains of a meticulously utilized natural resource are here to stay, but we try to make it palatable for our students.
Feet on the ground, eyes on the horizon and the heart centered in the right place, dear students, move forward as guided by your teachers. Regular study habits and 100% attendance will take you miles.

Supervisor, Grade 10
In this age of Digital Socialising and Artificial Intelligence, the students of Grade 10 stand poised
to take the first step towards being a true Global Citizen. The first step of working towards and choosing the stream option of their choice. Academic Engagement, Enrichment Activities, Sports and Co-Curricular Opportunities, Counselling Sessions, University Fair, all are planned and aimed at preparing and supporting the students to make an intelligent well thought decision. Pathfinder – an interactive Helpdesk by students of Grade 11 helped these students get a bird’s eye view of what’s in store for them in the various streams of Grade 11.
The enthusiasm and dedication of an extremely experienced team of teachers form a solid wall of support for the students and help them on their way. Constant interaction with parents ensured that the golden triangle of support – Teacher-Parent-Student – was always completed.
With CBSE finding newer ways to help and support the students appearing for the Board examinations, we march ahead together with a lot of hope and conviction.

Supervisor, Grade 12
Year 2018 has been a fulfilling year – being the Golden Jubilee Year and the Year of Zayed. To start with, we had impressive CBSE results – with Anya Rafi and Parvathi Shine emerging as GEMS Toppers in Commerce and Humanities stream respectively. It was gratifying to document that almost all school graduates entered universities of repute for undergraduate courses.
Another highlight of the year was the initiative of organizing the SMART Skills Summit for the outgoing batch. Imparting life skills was the core objective of the summit and it proved to be extremely beneficial for the students.
This year too, the team of dedicated teachers have been working year long, preparing the students for the Board exam and beyond. In fact, we teachers are building a legacy with every student we interact with. Maya Angelou has so succinctly expressed it in her advice to Oprah Winfrey, ‘The biggest reward is not financial benefits, for, material things do not fill up your life. But, living a life of substance can, substance through your service, your offering of your whole self. Your legacy is very life you have touched. Feel everything with love, because every moment, you are building your legacy.’ So very true for us who belong to the noble profession of teaching.
From all of us, dear students, ‘Fare Thee Well’, as you embark on an exciting journey of self- discovery and challenges.
Wishing each one of you rewarding Senior School days ahead.
Grade 11 is a year to explore, experiment, innovate and provide ample opportunities to the students to ensure that they cherish their school years and are prepared to face life’s challenges.
‘Touching Minds, Shaping Futures’ is our guiding force and our new ventures like UNIFROG and I-ECHO provide avenues to explore the world of global education and a platform for students to realise their passions. These ventures have created a positive vibe amongst all students, which is a testimonial of our commitment to provide world class education to our students.
The holistic education not only makes them confident but also improves their wellbeing. Our students have excelled in an array of activities like designing garments with zero wastage of textiles, receiving the title of UAE's Most Talented Kid, Our Own Indian Debate and UNSC. Representing the school in numerous National and International events like CBSE National Athletic Meet, Chess Meet, Swimming Meet, World Scholars’ Cup, Dubai Military Training course truly predicts their ultimate success in the future. Students have also made their voices heard in open forums such as Anti-bullying, Cyber bullying and Digital safety.
I am also fortunate to have a committed team not only to maintain the impeccable image of the school built on the strong foundations of GEMS but also to raise the bar of excellence to greater heights. It is an honour to be a team leader of this school that not only has symbolized but has also celebrated 50 years of excellence.
It is indeed a privilege to be an active member of the school fraternity, which creates fond memories for its alumni.
