Vasudha Rohatgi was the recipient of the prestigious ‘The H.H. Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak Award for Excellence’ for the academic year 2017-2018. HEMAYA MILITARY TRAINING COMPETITION
The Hemaya Military Competition was a golden opportunity for the students of Grades 7, 8, 9 and 11 to showcase their athletic skills. It was held in the premises of the ‘Dubai Police Academy’ on February 3rd, 2019. This exclusive contest was an enthralling experience for students as it was all about synchronization, confidence and commitment. The students had rigorous training for the competition by attending early morning classes for 2 months. True commitment and passion showed by instructor - Mr. Rashid, along with the efforts put by our talented group of students with the support of teachers, earned no less than First Position for GEMS Our Own in the competition.
UNITED NATIONS SIMULATION CONFERENCE
Our school won the Rolling Trophy for Over-all Third at United Nations Simulation Conference organized by GEMS Our Own Indian School.
Keren Jackson- 1st Runner-up – Best Speaker (Security Council); Keren Jackson – 2nd Runner-up – Position Paper (Security Council); Shreya Shiva – 2nd Runner-up – Position Paper (Security Council) Team Members - Aayushmathi A.V., Maitri Lalai, Calantha D’ Souza, Shreya Shiva and Keren Jackson of Grade 11.
