We started by asking what options are available after 16?
The opportunities are virtually limitless, all you need to do is
search for your chosen vocation at one of the colleges on page 22
If they do not have the place you are looking for then use the
search engines and ask Google to find a place for you
Most also have a careers officer or a department dedicated to
helping students find the places they want
The colleges hold open days where students can visit the college
they think will be right for them to see what is on offer.
The seminars are usually held twice a year, in autumn and again in
spring. You can talk to the tutors at these open days to find all the
information you need
Remember and bear in mind
Your own future is firmly in your hands. Everything you need to
progress your education, further your chosen career, gain a skill
and eventually obtain a job is out there
It is up to you to find it and with a determination you will
