YOU WILL BE ELECTING TWO BOARD MEMBERS IN THE
2020 ELECTIONS
2020 HARPER COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT
BOARD NOMINEES:
Bruce Miller – Incumbent
I am a fourth-generation farmer in north east Harper County.
Together my wife Judy of 47 years and I have two sons and
nine grandchildren, so we have two future farm generations
working with us. We run our farm as a total no-till operation.
With a variety of crops in the mix including wheat, milo, and
beans. We also incorporate cover and companion cropping
along with grazing cattle on our farmed acres. Over the years
we have experimented with other crops as well, such as
cotton and canola. We also have a trucking operation and do
some local custom farming.
*Bruce has been a valuable member of the Harper County Conservation board for 15 ½ years.
Austin Greve
I live in Anthony with my wife Kaitlyn and our
daughter Collins Kay. Kaitlyn works as the
Director of Nursing at Sumner County Hospital
District #1 in Caldwell, KS. I grew up in Anthony
and graduated from Chaparral High School. After
high school, I attended Kansas State University
graduating with a degree in Agriculture Economics
in 2011. I have gained a solid background in
agriculture with Crop Production Services as an
intern, Field Marketer for Mid Kansas Coop and as a District Sales Manager with
Ohlde Seed Co. In the spring of 2017, I started my own farming operation growing
wheat, soybeans, corn and grain sorghum. I am looking forward to working with
and serving the growers in our area.
