what can IBdo for me?
Students in an International Baccalaureate® (IB) World School
receive a unique education. They will:
think independently and drive their own learning
take part in programs of education that can lead them to
some of the highest ranking universities around the world
become more culturally aware and be able to engage with
people in an increasingly globalized, rapidly changing
world
The aim of the IB program is to develop internationally minded
people who recognize their common humanity and shared
guardianship of the planet. To do this, our students must be able
to recognize problems and ask relevant questions. They must know
how to gather information, through books, observation, questioning,
digital means, and listening and talking. They must learn to be
leaders.
Earning an IB diploma or successfully taking IB courses provides
students with a significant advantage over their peers with
admissions deans at colleges and universities around the world.
Once in college, IB students are fully prepared for success.
