always a result of careless behavior or bad choices. It is their
main sustainability project that makes all these other programs
possible. This project is unconventional thrift shop. Students
organize, number, and photograph the clothing, then list it for
sale on eBay or Facebook. The profits keep the charity up and
           running, making it self-sustainable.

To assist this amazing organization, Donovan Catholic sends
a religion class to Seeds of Service every Wednesday. The
students receive tasks that coordinate with goals of the charity
“We can get a week’s worth of work done for them,” commented
Dina Fischetti, the Donovan Catholic Christian Service coordinator.
Students receive a tour around the facility, and eat lunch with 13
the coordinators of the project. Students also ask questions
and get more involved in the project. “It’s an opportunity to
learn and serve. We’re not always aware of the situations
people around us are going through,” Jordyn Smith (‘20)
commented. After their service is complete, students reflect
on their experiences and share them with others on the bus
           ride back to the school.
