fantastic view
As Cayman’s oldest restaurant,
having first opened its doors in 1965, The Lobster Pot has garnered a formidable following of regulars over
the years. This is not only due to its fantastic view, perched overlooking the delightful George Town harbour, (though it is utterly gorgeous). The cuisine plays
a large part in why people keep coming back for more of the restaurant’s delicious offerings. As the name suggests, seafood plays a starring role on the menu, the Cayman trio of broiled lobster tail, grilled fresh wahoo and garlic shrimp a firm favourite. But you should also look out for their juicy steaks, cooked to perfection, just how you like. Choose from a 10 oz. NY steak with Bourbon peppercorn sauce, a filet mignon and lobster mashed potato, a Surf and Turf NY Strip or even a Reef and Beef Filet Mignon. Then there are great pizzas and pastas as well. Dine inside in their elegant dining room or al fresco on the shaded patio and watch the cruise ships sail majestically on to their next port of call most evenings.
