Food
Dining doesn’t come more spectacular in the Caribbean than when you are able to dig your toes into the sand while you enjoy great food. At Kaibo up in North Side you can spend a day relaxing by the water’s edge while enjoying some great dining options at this lovely restful destination, set right in its own beautiful beach complete with swaying palm trees and gentle breezes.
Stop for breakfast at the Kaibo Beach Espresso (their
iced cold-brew is a speciality), where they take great pride in offering beans that have been specifically sourced from the Garces farm, ‘Montes Y Colinas’, in Concordia, Colombia and then shipped to Miami for roasting before heading to Cayman.
You can also enjoy a delicious pizza for lunch baked in Cayman’s only outdoor wood-fired brick oven, or stay for a very special dinner at their Upstairs fine dining restaurant, with a menu that changes with the seasons but which always features the freshest ingredients. Treat yourself to their six course tasting menu and indulge in the rums at their unique Rare Rum Bar and Lounge, with the widest selection of rums on island.
And if you want to let your hair down and really get into the Caribbean vibe, why not go to their Barefoot Beach BBq that happens every Tuesday? Take a sunset cruise from Camana Bay and head to Kaibo for an all-you-can-eat locally sourced and inspired BBq, complete with live soca, calypso and reggae from local band Bonafide, limbo and conga dancing and a jump-up
The lovely Kaibo is a great all-day destination
