 4.1.1 The Franklin Planner
I was in Invercargill in the early days of my career and was introduced to the Franklin Planner, which was instrumental in making me a better and eventually good time manager. You really do need to develop a habit. Many who worked with me over years took up this excellent discipline and are still using the Franklin Planner principles today. It’s all about writing things down, making a to-do list every day, prioritising and at the same time working with your overall goals.
We all lead very busy lives – we can’t remember everything. If we don’t write things down, it just doesn’t get done. Time management is intertwined with the plan in your life; the goals that you’re setting of what you want to achieve and when you want to achieve them by – short-, medium-, and long- term goals.
