  Paulism: Systems (again).
Q: What part of your business do you get bogged down with?
A: The product range, but we don’t make anywhere near the money as we do in this other product line in our business.
Paulism: 80/20 Rule.
We covered a lot in that 90 minutes, but any plan has to start with some little bites.
The next morning, I wrote out a Success Module in another 90 minutes, with tasks, timeframes, ownership and priorities. A simple plan and task list. In it we set some short-term goals for the first 90 days.
90-day goals to 30 April
Accounting up to date and achieve a Profit & Loss by 5 May.
Write up office systems for invoicing, answering phones, receipting and quoting.
After completing a job description and the majority of the systems are written up, employ a person in the office to free up owners’ time. Marketing campaign for seasonal product.
Set reporting in plan to have accurate reporting on closure rates, units per sale, etc.
Take units per sale of XYZ products from 1.2 units per sale to 1.5.
