Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill
This is a book that many successful people over the last nearly eighty years have said has triggered their path to success. It is a book lost for this generation or this century. It’s not just about getting rich, as that can create a dangerous selfish behaviour. It is about creating a success mindset and thought patterns for success. The book developed from Napoleon Hill’s interviews of many of the world’s most successful people early last century and finding out their secrets to success. One of the main things I took from of the book was ‘For every adversity there is a seed of opportunity’. I refer to this often, and there is a chapter on this in this book (see Part 3: Chapter 3). At times, adversity can be looked upon as an opportunity – we learn from it and it is part of our life’s journey.
