The residence is located in a leafy neighbourhood of Lutyens’s Delhi. Conceptually, this traditional townhouse “haveli” is distributed around central courts with continuous open, semi-enclosed and enclosed spaces. After arrival at the porte-cochere, the exceptional long vista opens out trough entire property all the way to the pool pavilion at the back. At the front of the house are reception rooms and area for entertainment. Along each wing are bedrooms and ancillary spaces enclosed at the back with master bedrooms building. While first, a smaller court is glazed, the second, a larger court has covered perimeter collonade. It is also designed with a retractable roof for the enclosure and protection during monsoon season.
