During the interior demolition process a construction worker uncovered a signature on an original stud behind the wall. After some research of census data, it was discovered that “H.D. Jones” from Bainbridge OH was the “Saloon Keeper” in 1885 at the Tabor and lived in what is now unit 4A.

THE RENOVATION OF THIS NATIONAL TREASURE DIDN’T STOP AT THE FRONT DOOR
INTERIOR
- Full asbestos abatement and removal in basement
- Full lead paint removal in building
- Replaced fabric awning with metal for durability
- Added additional insulation
- Serviced all heating units, boilers etc
- Repaired all window seals
- Changed building paint scheme back to original
colors
EXTERIOR
- Repaired front sidewalk of low areas
- Replaced exterior lighting
- Added original wrought iron detail to fourth floor
- Re-finished front door
- Added historical display on south east corner of
building
- Refinished exterior railings
- New commercial signage to match building
history and era
- Added walking pads on roof for long term
