RWCCCC continues to be a very active club as we continue to plan ahead for our 2019 Regional
Specialties, to be held in Pleasanton, CA October 20, 2019. We plan to have two shows on Saturday, with
the traditional beautiful trophies organized by Carla Maclay. Our traditional Super Raffle items put together
by Deanne White, Maria Yuen, and Sue Brough from items donated by club members and specialty shops
you will find on show grounds.
We are pleased to continue offering Rally Trials our 3rd year to do so under the direction of our Companion
events chair, Louise Wilson and her committee. Katie Mirabelli and Louise Wilson have put more
companion titles and awards on their dogs.
Louise has added more titles to her amazing girl Branwyn. She has more titles than any chow we can find
in our records.
Our outstanding therapy dog, Turbo who lives in Reno with his parents the Wyetts is an official greeter at
the Reno Airport one day a week. Our RWCCCC is proud to have these chows doing such great PR for
the breed. He has his own business/calling cards which are much requested by those meeting him at the
airport.
Our latest event Oct. 6, 2018 was our annual FUN DAY IN THE PARK!! After chows showed at the local
all breed show, Chow friends, meaning everyone who has a chow, show or family companion, attend this
annual party and cook-out. Our attendance is always close to 30 dogs. We are fortunate enough to have
Louise Wilson our Companion Events Chair, to set up a Rally or nose work course for everyone to take
their dog through a demonstration. Our message to the dog community, “You can do more than put a CH
title on your Dog”. Dogs love to have a job to do, and work in a bonding relationship with their special
human. We are so happy to have a new club member who is doing Rally with her dog.
Our fall regional specialty will be October 20th, in Pleasanton, CA and will be history by the time you read
this and we are continuing to plan for 2019. Consider coming to California in October!!!
We hope to see everyone at our National in April. Support each other, Support our Regional Clubs, and
find those Junior Handlers to bring along to the National.

The CCCGNY held its fall match and meeting on Sept. 8, 2018, a few photos
are attached.

We are having our Specialty at the Trenton KC on May 5, 2019 in NJ. Our
Specialty judge will be Dr. Michael Manning. We will have a supported entry
the day before at the Bucks County KC in PA, followed by a Sweepstakes,
B-Match, Fun Classes, annual meeting and BBQ seven miles away in NJ.
