Always Loves Her Family Bonnie Goodland , Age 70
Born in 1947 my grandma treated life very simple about life. From a child to present family was the most important thing to her and was very accepting to live and says “what it is what it is” that makes her very special to help me understand when that thing isn't given to you. Bonnie Goodland is the person that I'm honoring because she is someone that is always there for my family since the beginning and loves family and her grandchildren.
My grandma was born in Abbotsford British Columbia in 1947 and she lived a simple childhood with her best friend Helen who lived in her neighborhood and was the only girl around her age in her neighborhood and are still friends today. Her grandparents were her heroes back then because how nice they were to her as a child. Bonnie decided what she wanted to do with her life by something that she enjoyed. Today she wakes very early in the morning, she usually does sewing, plays golf, and makes dinner for my grandpa. My grandma is always caring and loves seeing her two daughters grow up what they are today. Today she has two kids both girls and has 5 grandchildren three boys and two girls. She always loves her family and loves family dinners because of her love for cooking and family. She watches a lot of news and often gets depressed by it but, visit friends to get away from the negativity for a day. Bonnie was good in school as a child and a picky eater also she was very shy. Bonnie Goodland currently lives in her own house in Bellingham, Washington and lives in a quiet neighborhood where not a lot of things happen.
Today my grandma is very caring for her children and grandchildren and the entire family in general. The heart of Bonnie Goodland is that you have to accept life, deal with it and try to be happy with yourself and your family and never to be angry. She said this to me by saying “Never go to bed angry” who heard it from the preacher that married my grandma and my grandpa.
My grandma always left a legacy on our family to love your family and try not to be angry. She taught me that family dinners are very important because you might not see parts of your family for a long time. She has made a big difference with me to try to be happy and to love your family and to enjoy the time when you are with them. She has a simple life but still has tons of stories to tell with her grandchildren, she is always proud of me and my brother when we do something new and makes us feel good about passions for the future. She also is very nice with friends by giving gifts and helping them out.
She has given me some life lessons to not be angry and to mostly love your family and enjoy the moments that you're with them. The most important thing that she taught me that age passes quickly and try to accomplish as much as possible within that time period and to try to do what you want to do. My grandma has always been there for many people to help them out with gifts presents or just talking and making their lives a little more happy or fun
To this day I still admire Bonnie Goodland for the love of her family and she always has something to say to anyone's question and loves life. My grandma has learned a lot even through her childhood and thinks that we should get along and countries and don’t have wars. The true reason that I'm honoring Bonnie Goodland is that she always loved her grandchildren since they were very young and she helps my mom greatly after my parent's divorce. The divorce that happened between my parents were very hard to me and my mom had to get another house, my grandmother gave presents to make the new house more like home and still helps us today.
