It is hard to believe that we are approaching the 4 quarter of 2019. It seems like yesterday

that I was sworn in as this year’s GSABA President. I have been amazed at the dedication of our
Board of Directors, Committee and Council Chairs, Staff and Members.
Together we have accomplished a lot over the past nine months and all indicators are that the
Association AND the housing market should end the year strong! Grant Lopez, a Realtor with
the Schrader Group, serves on the 2019 GSABA Board of Directors in his capacity as Chairman

3,440 - Total home sales through MLS (7% increase) 4,205 – New listings (4,070 in August 2018)
$277,114- Average price (4% increase) 10,303 – Active listings (9,929 in August 2018)
$238,400- Median price (3% increase) Sales per price bracket:
$129- Price per square foot (6% increase) 31.31% of sales were priced at $199,000 and below
54 - Days on Market (1 day more than last year) 62.41% of sales were priced at $200,000 - $499,000
3.7 – Months of inventory on the market 6.22% of sales were priced at $500,000 and up
97.8% - Number of listings sold for list price

We also have our Associates Appreciation Casino Night scheduled for Thursday, November 7 . Join me and your fellow officers
as we recognize and thank our Associate members for all that they do! The GALA and Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday,

December 5 at the Pearl Stable where we will install your President Elect, Jeff Czar, as the 2020 GSABA President.
