KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Dr. Camilo A. Polinga is an ASEAN Engineer and a Registered Professional Agricultural Engineer. He
obtained his Ph. D. in Agricultural Engineering major in Farm Power and Machinery with minor field in
Environmental Science and Management from the University of the Philippines at Los Baños, Laguna. His Ph.
D. dissertation was on solid waste management particularly on market wastes.
Dr. Polinga has enough exposure in the fields of school administration, management of engineering and
ICT projects, training and event management, research and extension, and curriculum development. He had
been part of the Training Management Group in various international, national, regional and local trainings,
seminars and workshops conducted or hosted by the Cavite State University in the fields of agricultural
engineering, renewable energy and IT. He was also part of the CHED Evaluation Team that evaluated UPLB
Institute of Agricultural Engineering as Center of Excellence in Agricultural Engineering. Furthermore, he was
also part of the National Technical Working Group for Biogas Technology which is responsible in the
implementation of the National Biogas Technology Extension Program in Key Livestock Areas, a project funded
by DA and DOE. In addition, he is a Senior Accreditor of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and
Universities of the Philippines.
At present, he is a Professor in Agricultural Engineering of the Cavite State University. He is the Project
Manager of the CvSU-CICT projects who is tasked to oversee the implementation of the ischools project,
eskwela project and other CICT projects. He is currently the Vice President for Admininstrative and Support
Services of the Cavite State University.
