Explanatory Note
(This note is not part of the Regulations)

These Regulations are made under Part 5 of the Advocates Act 1995 which deals
with the licensing of Notaries Public. The Regulations amend the Notaries
Regulations 2000 to require appropriate training or experience and a certificate of
suitability by an existing Notary Public.
