A lot of the departments principles and beliefs come from the work of Bill Walsh who was once the
San Franciso 49ers head coach.
From his work, we believe that at some point in this season, you will have at least one chance to
win a game for us. He once said:
‘every single one of you guys will have at least one chance to win a game for us, I ask you to
prepare for that opportunity with the attitude that its a certainty, not a possibility. Prepare and be
ready for when your time comes…..because it will come.’
This isn’t just aimed at the star player, in fact it is aimed everyone. To make sure that we provide
the best chance for you to win us the game when the opportunity comes, we will make sure we
have a team around you that is best suited to allowing you to be ready when that time comes.
