October 2017 – Help a Buddy Out

It’s Safetastic Competition time!

As part of National Safe Work Month, this month’s activity is for your store/hospital to create a
“safetastic” safety video empowering staff at all levels to make good safety choices. You will need
to choose a hazard that will showcase how you consult with your team and provide effective ways
of communicating safety information and prevention.

Video submissions must be received by COB Friday 27/10/2017. Submissions are to be sent via
email to: safety@petstock.com.au with winners being announced on Tuesday 31/10/2017 so let’s
get creative team!

Will the winning video receive a prize?

For all your hard work, not only will your team be winners because you have created a safe work
culture in your store/hospital, the Safety Department will also shout you a team event of your
choice.

Events will be discussed with the winning team based on what is available in your
area.

Past winners received a choice of the following prizes:

• Team Karaoke

• The Secret Life of Pets viewing with Candy Bar voucher at your local
Cinema

• Team lunch
