Mind Revolution.

It is a wish achieved when an empty mind meets reality.
We often distinguish between right and wrong for the
purpose of changing the world.
But the radical, sweeping revolution will be to gain change
in our hearts, discovering and experiencing our bright,
clean inner nature.
I look for the original nature innate in humans from the
light that can be seen everywhere at night.
The light can be referred to as the whole of human life or

human beings themselves.
At a place where marvelous enlightenment gives off light,
The empty mind gives birth to the world.

Inner Light Intrinsic to Everyone
A dictionary definition of a “dream scape” is “a dreamlike scene.”
After discovering “that thing in the inner self” Chung dreams of
a better world. The serialized work <Dreamscape> (2002-2011)
including its sub-works such as <Dreams>, <Full Empty>, <Mind
Revolution> and <Profound> is a long-term Project intended to
express unforgettable experiences in photographs. This series is
a Projection of elements of humanity’s good nature such as con-
science, honesty, love and truth in neon light, focusing primarily
on his inner world. Chung communicated with tens of thousands
of passengers and heard their inward voices when working as a
taxi driver for four years as a seminal part of his artistic work. He
discovered “that thing in the inner self” in all of them through his
short conversations with them. A good dream to alter the world
was concerned with the light from human minds. Just as neon light-
ing may have various sizes, forms, and colors, each person may have
different impressions from their experience. Chung wishes every-
one to realize the light they have.
