OVERVIEW




        Uppercut Deluxe has a modern, yet traditional approach to men’s grooming. An Australian born brand
        proudly made with only the finest ingredients, Uppercut Deluxe delivers a core range of high quality
        grooming products for men without all the fancy embellishments of salon brands. In addition to their
        strong wholesale and trade channels, Uppercut Deluxe serves four international markets through their
        direct online channel, Australia, North America, United Kingdom and Europe.



        CHALLENGES




        Uppercut Deluxe faced numerous challenges with their eCommerce technology platform, website,
        development partner and time.
                  • Technology platform was out of date, resulting in security vulnerabilities
                  • Website and technical architecture was not designed and developed to be mobile first, with
                  user experience and speed negatively impacting on conversion rate
                  • Existing development partner was not proactively supporting and advising them, effectively
                  holding Uppercut Deluxe to ransom each time development updates were required
                  • With a major campaign planned it was imperative that the website was resolved as quickly
                  as possible

        Key to the approach was to develop a future proof technology platform, mobile first website with
        improved user experience, load speed and conversion capabilities featuring 4 individual store fronts
        with localised currency.


        To top it off, the project needed to be completed and ready for launch within 3 weeks.
