CODE OF CONDUCT
In keeping with our mission and values, every pupil at St John’s D.S.G. should strive to:
• Uphold the good name of the school and ensure her behaviour does not adversely
affect the reputation of the school.
• Conduct herself in an honest, considerate and respectful manner.
• Demonstrate a positive attitude towards learning and work independently and
conscientiously to maintain a level of achievement commensurate with ability.
• Honour commitments made to the school.
• Be punctual and observe timekeeping practices of the school.
• Respect the property of the school and school community.
• Be considerate of and sensitive to the needs to others.
• Show respect towards visitors, greet them and enquire if they need help. Girls must
show respect for staff, visitors and senior girls by standing aside.
• Ensure that, where appropriate, the necessary thanks are given, either verbally or in
writing.
• Abide by the rules laid down by the school.
