School App: ALL communication from the school is posted on the St John’s D.S.G. School App, which is available to download on your mobile phone’s App Store (from January, 2020). The School App communicates daily alerts, upcoming events and news item updates, so that important school information will reach parents more effectively. An authentication code for log in will be sent to parents at the start of Term 1, 2020. This
E-mail: Individual communication takes place via email, therefore email addresses must please be kept up to date.
Website: Our website is updated regularly with interesting school news. It also has a “Parent Zone”, where you can access information, such as term dates and school calendars. However, we encourage parents to rather refer to the School App for that communication. You can visit our website at www.stjohnsdsg.com
Social Media: St John’s D.S.G. is available on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube – if you are on social media, we encourage you to not only follow us, but also to interact with us. We love engaging with the St John’s D.S.G. community online!
Newsletters: Our school newsletter, The Yellow Pages, is published every two weeks and is available on our School App and website.
Our boarding newsletter, Letters from Home, is published twice a term and is emailed to our boarding community. It will also be available to download on the School App.
At half-term and the end-of-term, the Principal’s newsletter is uploaded on the School App.

Our communication is only successful if we have your current details. Please ensure you keep the school informed of any changes to telephone or cellphone numbers, your e-mail addresses or physical address, so that we can keep you up-to-date with St John’s D.S.G. news.
