1. การบอกเกี่ยวกับวันในภาษาอังกฤษ จะใช้ “on” เสมอ ไม่ว่าจะพูดถึงวัน

ทั้งเจ็ดในสัปดาห์ หรือวันที่มีเดือนปี ก ากับอยู่ด้วยก็ตาม เช่น

My birthday is on Sunday.

We work on Monday.

I was born on the tenth of May.

She came here on the first of December.

2. การบอก ชื่อเดือน หรือปี โดยไม่บอกวัน จะใช้ “in” เสมอ เช่น

I was born in June.

I was born in nineteen seventy – one.

3. ค าว่า “date” ในภาษาอังกฤษ หมายถึง การบอกวันที่เฉพาะเจาะจง คือ

บอกทั้ง วัน เดือน ป ี

4. ชื่อวันและเดือน ไม่ว่าจะอยู่ส่วนใดของประโยค ตัวอักษรแรกของค าต้อง
