I would like to dedicate this edition to my Dad, Peter Alan David Adler, who passed away on November 25th 2017.
He has always been my Coach, Teacher, Mentor, and now Guardian Angel. When I came out to him he didn't really say anything about my orientation and then I called him on the phone and said "Dad I know you haven't said anything about what is going on" (In reference to my being Gay) I asked him " Do you need any counseling?"
He said "Tom, no matter who you are or what you are I will always Love you. "To me that was about the best thing a Father could say. It was the first time I had felt relief in my whole life. I knew for the first time everything was going to be ok .
He supported me and he supported my Husband Mark and he was in my view what all Fathers' should be and say to their child when their kid comes out of the closet.
