Now, turn with me, please, to Titus chapter

2 reading from verse 11. The third and last

point is “The False Gospel of Country Music.”

We're going to spend the most time on this.

You say, “What in the world are you talking

about?” I'm talking about the honky-tonk

gospel that is presented in country music. And,

by the way, I preached a message here a year

or two ago titled "Southern Gospel Music."

There's little difference between Southern

Gospel music and country music. The difference

is the words. And this is why the same people

can go out to the shows and the jamborees and

listen to the country music on Saturday night
