about  Hee  Haw  in  just  a  moment.  But  most


             Friday and Saturday nights I was at a country



             music jamboree.  My dad played in a band.  My



             brother also played in a band at that time.  So


             we were at these places on a regular basis, and



             we saw many of the music stars.  I mean, some


             of  these  places  would  bring  in  people  from



             Nashville and other places around the country.


             They'd have a lot of locals sing, and then they'd



             have one star to show up because that is what



             drew  the  crowds.  Several  hundred  people


             would come out.  So we grew up around this.



             I'm talking about on a weekly basis.  It was in


             our home.  This is what we heard; this is what



             we saw.  So I saw firsthand the immorality, the


             drunkenness,  the  wickedness  and  all  of  this



             that's  associated  with  country  music.    And  I


             remember my  dad  taking  me to  at  least two
