Accessing E-mail Messages with Attachments
1. Log into your e-mail account.
2. If the contents of the Inbox folder do not display, click on the
inbox folder to display the contents.
3. Click the message you want to read. The contents of the message
appear in the lower-right pane, and the From and Subject information
appear at the top of this pane
. If a message has one or
more files attached to it, a paper clip will also appear in this area.
4. To open any file attached to a message, click the paper clip icon and
then click the file you want to open from the list that appears from the
paper clip.
5. (Optional) Using Reading Pane, click the Previous and Next buttons
on the toolbar to access previous and next e-mail messages in the
Inbox.
NB: Any new, unread messages appear in bold and have a closed envelope icon
next to them.
E-mail terminologies
From: is the location where the sender’s email address is inserted.
To: is the location where the original recipient(s) email address(es)
is/are inserted.
