interaction, the members of the Education Sub-committee and other volunteers spent the morning distributing scholarships and interacting with members and children at the Divya Shanthi School. The committee thanks the management of the school for allowing us to use the premises and making it convenient for members.
‘Super Trooper’—a ‘happy to be back at

and get such a wonderful turnout. On 16 February, the branch held for the first time
an event titled ‘Nostalgia’ aimed at bringing
selected children from primary school an opportunity to begin the new academic year high on self-esteem and positivity, so they can focus on their studies and achievements.
The committee is pleased to announce that the program covered fourteen children in 2019. Each child received a ‘Day One Kit’ comprising a brand-new school uniform, school shoes, stationery and accessories. The committee would like to thank the five sponsors of this program. We hope this new initiative continues and sustains itself into the future.

The Vice Chairman and acting Principal of Fullinfaws College, Bannarghatta Road, Mr Navneet
Fullinfaw, met the President of the Bangalore branch Mr Clive VanBeurle on 15 May 2019. Mr Fullinfaw assured the branch that any Anglo-Indian from the branch who cleared their class 10 and 12 boards would receive a seat in his college. Deserving students would also be eligible for up to 50% scholarship.
