TDawn to Dusk Hockey at Erode
he Villupuram-Pondicherry branch is proud to announce that its team, which took part in the Dawn to Dusk Hockey
Tournament organised by the Erode branch
Captain Charlotte Fernandez
Aaron Parker—kept the attendees on the floor through the night dancing to different genres of music. Tombola and other games were played to give tired feet a small break. The youth of the branch were very helpful in helping the committee organize the whole event. Helen Pereira and family ran a well-stocked food-bar providing a variety of sumptuous dishes.
TScholarships Activity
he committee of the Villupuram- Pondicherry branch had branch members gather under one roof on 23
June 2019 to fill in their wards’ scholarship forms for the academic year 2019-2020. This branch is perhaps unique in the sense that two towns, belonging to two different states/ union territories, have been yoked together to form one branch. Logistics, therefore, have to be managed with some care and
attention.
In order to facilitate the filling in and submission of the scholarship forms and to minimise the possibility of documents being lost during transfer from Villupuram to Pondicherry and vice-versa, the committee thought it would be expedient to personally go to the two towns and carry out the paperwork themselves rather than wait for them to reach the office. The whole exercise proved fruitful.
