Cabernet is a substantial filly that currently shows tremendous promise as a dressage horse. She is bold and very forward, with correct movement, excellent cadence and has shown she is very quick to learn.
Sire: Cadeau Noir distinguishes his foals with a strikingly beautiful type as well as first-class movement. His sire, Christ, has outstanding move- ment and rideability and is the sire of 12 licensed sons. Christ was second reserve Champion Stallion in his group with emphasis on dressage at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2007. He finished his 30-day test with top scores. Currently, Christ competes successfully in dressage up to Prix St. George.
Cadeau Noir’s dam Delicia was awarded State Premium Mare with very interesting bloodlines from De Niro (s. Donnerhall) and Calypso II (s.Cor de la Bryere). Delicia and both her daughters sired by Christ, were awarded premiums as mare family at the Herwart-von-der-Decken Show in 2013. At the broodmare show in Uelzen they became Champion Mare Family and the two-year old full sister of Cadeau Noir was celebrated as overall Champion of the show
Cadeau Noir is homozygous black and is a high-class sire that produces talented offspring.
Dam: Honolulu Baby xx goes back to Seattle Slew and Danzig. She had an acceptable racing career, breaking her maiden in Hollywood Park for $25,000. She is has been accepted by the Rheinland Pfalz Saar and Hanoverian studbooks.
