You will be notified in writing of the Company’s decision. The Company may refuse to consent to
your request. If you work without consent this could result in the termination of your employment.
If you are unhappy with the decision you may appeal using the Grievance Procedure.
2.18 RIGHT TO SEARCH
The Company reserves the right to search employees or any of their property held on the Company’s
premises, at any time, if the Company believes that its Alcohol and Drugs Policy is being infringed or
if it believes that an employee may have committed a criminal offence.
If an employee refuses to comply with the Company’s Search Procedure, such refusal will normally
be treated as amounting to gross misconduct and will entitle the Company to take disciplinary
action.
