CELEBRATING A MILESTONE

Continuing with the tradition of being the voice of local businesses, the Madoc & District Chamber of
Commerce proudly announces there are exciting times ahead. As we look to the future we anticipate
the continuing growth of the Central Hastings community.

The Chamber is a voluntary, not for profit business organization dedicated to improving the economic pulse of our
community. As an active, progressive, problem solving organization, the Chamber of Commerce focuses on economic
and workforce development. The strength of the chamber lies in its membership, small businesses, corporations,
home-based businesses and professional men and women, working together to enhance the quality of life in Central
Hastings.
A strong, dynamic business community benefits everyone. The Madoc & District Chamber of Commerce connects local
businesses, service organizations and local government to create an environment where people want to live, work and
play. We are proud of our strong values, our businesses, schools, churches, civic organizations and events that promote
and nurture a vital and energized community throughout the year.
For the last three years the Chamber has sent modest goals towards membership. In September of 2020 the Chamber
had 29 members, by end of 2021 we had 90, end of 2022 we had 120 members. Our goal for 2023 was to hopefully
achieve 30 new members to end the year at 150.
I am so proud to say that the Chamber achieved its goal as of May 24, 2023. Thank you to all the members, board of
directors, residents and partners for all your support.
