LIONS, KIWANIS & LEGION NEWS
TWEED LIONS
We are very excited to bring an escape room to the Tweed Lions Hall on
Father's Day weekend. Gather up your family and friends and see if you can
find the missing items. This is an all ages event, 2-5 players per session.
Cost is $40 per session with all funds raised going to the Pump Track. There
are only 12 sessions available so book early!
Sessions can be booked through eventbrite with payment by e-transfer to

Madoc Legion
Great news article about the Legion’s Public Speaking Competition
and congratulations to the young lad on his win, awesome. This is a
prime example of why these competitions are so important, they help
give the youth of today increased skills for later in life. The Madoc
Branch Youth Ed Chair, Jennifer Reid, does a fantastic job promoting
all the Youth Ed programs.

funds for the Ronald
McDonald House.
The Little Club With The
Big Heart
Branch 363 President Tim Clark presented Centre Hastings Station 1 and 2
with cheques totalling $10,946.00. These grants are made possible by
Royal Canadian Legion Ontario Command and Ladies Auxiliary Charitable
Foundation. Other Legion executive in attendance were Stephen McGee,
Caroline Saunders, Jennifer Hodge and Karen Clouter..Accepting for the
Municipality were Mayor Tom Deline, Councillor Kevin C McLaughlin and
Beth McBeath(firefighter). Chief Branscombe and Deputy Chief Newman
and many of Our Volunteer fire fighters attended
