K-9 and mounted units were the stars of the show during a rainy Coffee with a Cop event in the 16th District. Officers chatted up the adults, and the kids got to meet the dogs and horses as part of the community-build- ing get-together.
Spotted by the Pan- ico family, 22nd Dis- trict officers in Mor- gan Park received birthday favors from the birthday girl herself, Erin, who made sure her mother stopped so the little treats could be shared.
In the 25th District, officers teamed up with Alderman Felix Cardona Jr.’s office to tidy up Cragin Park and the neighborhood, also taking time to put a smile on at least one young face.
