We’re in this together: Messages to inspire Chicago Police Officers
“Keeping home values strong
We are grateful for the strength and courage of the Chicago Police De- partment in standing on the front lines and keeping us safe in times of crisis. We all sleep better knowing you are fighting for us every day and night. We hope that in this pandemic fight, you are staying safe and taking the time to rest, recharge and spend time with those you love.
On the real estate front, the market is still thriving and home ownership remains a stable investment. High buyer demand and historic low interest rates are keeping home values strong. Buyers are still out finding homes they love, signing contracts and working with lenders to secure financing. Title companies are streamlining processes to make closing as seamless as possible. With so much available technology, we have been able to forge ahead and continue business.
Sellers who are currently on the market continue to get online traffic to their listings. They capture the most buyer interest with professional pho- tography, virtual tours, floor plans and video. If you are thinking of selling this spring or summer, now is a great time to tackle small repairs around your home to prepare.
It’s important to note that throughout the real estate process, safety should be paramount. Make sure that whenever possible, you limit in-per- son contact and always ask if there is a remote or virtual service to achieve the desired result. The best realtors are innovative and will help protect both your home interests and your health.

“Grow together and gain strength
Being in law enforcement and being a pillar of strength for the community can come with many rewards, as well as many challenges and hardships. In times of adversity it’s important not to lose sight that, when we come together and overcome, we are able to tap into unexpect- ed strengths that our communities share.
We grow together and gain strength from every experience that requires us to be fearless and selfless. While it may be difficult to forget the pain from many of our experiences, it’s much easier to lose sight of all of the blessings that surround us.
If you or your loved one experiences a significant amount of emotional or physical pain due to substance abuse or interpersonal relationships, please reach out to us for help. The pain you are experiencing is not permanent and you do not have to go through it alone. We are here to support you on your journey to a healthy and fulfilling life.
Police officers are the embodiment of courage and strength in difficult times; know that just as you bravely serve your community, your community is here to serve you. We are committed to helping any police officer struggling with a substance use disorder.
