We are what we speak. You speak “your church will be full”-- your church will be full.
God wants HIS house in order (Ezekiel 37) Dry Bones - muscles, sinews, bones, they all came together, but, nothing happened until God breathed on it. God is not going to breathe on the house (church) until you have your house in order.
If your house is not in order, it will not stand Matthew 7:24-27 (KJV)24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
From a business perspective, if you noticed a closed restaurant, you would say that place of business did not have enough clientele to stay open. On the contrary, that place of business may have had too much business. Success can take you out just as fast as not having enough business. Maybe it took too long to be seated, maybe the food took too long to come out, maybe the waiter or waitress was rude. Having these types of experiences, most people will say “I will never go back”. I just described the church. If you are not at your best, the people will not come back. All departments have to be ready--ushers, greeters, nursery, and so forth. Notice, I did not say anything about the preaching and the praise and worship. In a lot of churches this is where the focus is and it needs to be, but, it is not the glue, it’s the other departments that will hold up the preaching and praise and wor- ship.
