P. 10

You cannot expect leaders to follow the vision if the vision is not in front of your leaders. The bible is telling us to write the vision when the vision comes, it will not tarry, it will be like BAM it’s here.
Where the bible says in the verses it will tarry, the reasoning for this is, are you ready for the growth? God is wanting to make
sure HIS people are well taken care of. It’s about the Kingdom and not the Church, because Jesus is the Church and the head of the Church.
Matthew 6:33 (KJV)33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. The word “SEEK” in the AMP says to “AIM” and “STRIVE” after. People are not going to come in the church, until we go after them.
Have a Vision Day Sunday, on this day have a special offering for the vision.
Only One Vision
By saying that a house divided cannot stand, Jesus is illustrating the fact that success relies on agreement or harmony. This
is something we see in daily life. Whether it is a machine, a sports team, a government party, or one’s own mind, things must
work together if anything is to be accomplished. The Bible says that a double-minded man is unstable in all his ways
(James 1:8), and Paul appeals to the churches that there be no divisions among the believers (1 Corinthians 1:10). In
fact, churches should be unified in their purpose and judgment, avoiding people who cause divisions and create
obstacles contrary to sound doctrine (Romans 16:17). Christians are not to quarrel but to be unified around a
common understanding of truth. “How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!” (Psalm 133:1).
God commands unity among believers because, once conflict enters the midst of any assembly or entity, productivity and
usefulness inevitably grind to a halt and the whole organization is weakened and becomes vulnerable to attack. As Jesus said, “Any kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and a house divided against itself will fall.”
It is up to the leaders you have around you to make sure the house is not divided. No leader should join in the conversation with others against the vision of the house.
Remember Pastors, God cannot breathe on HIS house if HIS house is not in order.
Can your leaders disagree with the vision and still submit to the vision
Hebrews 13:17 (KJV) 17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
Many times, Pastors are looking for the perfect staff and leaders, which in fact what you should be looking for are leaders
who will submit to your vision. Not everybody around you is going to agree with the vision. And at the same time leaders can submit.
We need to teach leaders on what does it mean to disagree and at the same time fulfill the vision of the house. Leaders can
say they are agreeing with the vision, however they disagree with the vision when the Pastor is not around. In doing this the
leader is pulling the seed out of the ground in which the Pastor is trying to plant. Therefore, the Pastor works very hard to
find the perfect leaders in which they will not find. If the Pastor would change their approach, the Pastor will see it works much better.
It’s ok to disagree with the vision and still submit. How is this done? First, be truthful how you feel. You as a leader
should be able to express how you feel. This kind of meeting would take place behind closed doors. Where it goes
wrong is when the leader says it’s all good, but it’s truly not. From the outside appearance it may look good, but on the inside where God can hear you, it’s not good. A divided house will create trouble among the house!
From an outside appearance leaders look like they agree with the vision. The question is what is in their heart, what’s on the inside? God knows us from the inside out, therefore God knows the matters of the heart.
You can always tell when a leader or leaders are not with your vision. When negativity comes from your leaders and they say I knew it would not work, this leader or leaders were never behind your vision to begin with. It was always in their heart to pull the seed out of the ground before it ever was planted. What should have been said is we tried, we did all we could do.
